Cards in Envy and Mojo Monday

Cards in Envy this time is to make  a card using  Paper Strips instead of ribbon!  Remember,  Cards in Envy is for cards that fit into a regular first class postage envelope.  The most common size being the A2 (5.5 inch x 4.25 inch) OR a square card ( 5 inch x 5 inch or SMALLER).  And please remember no lumpy bumpy embellishments.  A good rule of thumb is–only one layer on foam tape, no buttons on foam tape, flatter flowers (paper flowers are good), no rosettes, no super thick buttons or brads, etc.  If all layers and embellishments together are thicker than 1/4 inch then it’s not a card for Cards in Envy.   The Mojo Monday challenge this week fits perfectly with the Cards in Envy challenge. The sketch for Mojo Monday is

I had fun with this sketch in making a flat card! Here is my take on paper strips and this sketch.

Stamps:  CTMH C1536 Happy Thoughts
Paper: Close to my Heart Avonlea Paper Packet and Twilight  cardstock
Ink: CTMH Exclusive Ink Twilight
Accessories: Cricut Art Artiste p. 32 Accent 3 and shift Cricut Art Philosophy Circle 1 at 2 3/4 inches , Circle 2 at 3 inches

What do you think of the card? I always appreciate your feedback.

Great card, Pam! I love the paper leaves and the addition of photo corners (is that what they’re called?) I appreciate the details for the cartridge and cut sizes as well. ~ Marilyn
