Colors and Sketches

At Colors and Sketches, a clean and simple blog, has a sketch this week. I had fun with the honeycomb shape stamps this week with this card. Honeycomb or hexagon shapes are very popular in card making at the present time. The 3 D effect and different shape sizes on this card are accomplished by popping some of the hexagons and outlining two of the hexagons. The largest gypsy color hexagons are popped with one thin piece of 3D foam tape on the outer two most hexagons. The middle gypsy color hexagon is stamped directly on the card stock with no outline. The two topiary hexagons are 3D stamped with two thin pieces of foam tape. What do you think?

Love that you used hexagons instead of circles and that’s a ‘sweet’ sentiment!
Thanks for playing along with us at CAS Colours and Sketches
