Color my Heart

The Color My Heart challenge is fun. I encourage you to give it a try this week. The 4th of July celebrates our independence as a country. Please remember to thank our military folks for the sacrifices they have made to help maintain our independence in this country. This little project used the CTMH Artitse cartridge and the May Stamp of the Month. Enjoy! Have a safe and happy holiday!

Heart 2 Heart – Favorite Colors

This week at Heart 2 Heart challenge we get to pick our favorite colors. Since I was a young girl I always have loved any shade of blue and green. I love these colors in nature and enjoy watching butterflies in the garden. I used the CTMH Surf’s Up paper and cardstock to make this card. I was cleaning up my craft room because I know the housekeeper comes on Tuesday and happen to come across the retired CTMH Treasures stamp set that I thought was perfect for the card. I decorated the inside of the card too! There are three pictures of the card; the front; a close up of the verse on the front and the inside of the card.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp

This time at Sunday Sketch and Stamp there was a lovely sketch to incorporate CTMH Chantilly paper. Around the small circle I braided ribbon and placed small pearls along the braid. I included rolled flowers and vine in CTMH card stock. I included a saying the was cut from the CTMH Chantilly zip strip.

What do you think of the card? I hope you have a lovely day. Thanks for stopping by and leaving feedback.

Our Daily Bread Shining Light Challenge

This time at the Daily Bread Shining Light Challenge there was a lovely sketch to use CTMH Surf’s Up paper. I used a Daily Bread stamp set. The card includes dry embossing pattern that matches the paper. I made the small medallion with the color of the paper that was on the back of blue and lagoon pattern. What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a blessed day in the Lord. I greatly appreciate your feedback and comments.

Twist of Faith and Word Art Wednesday

As I look out over the beautiful country side and listen to the birds, I feel so close to God and know that He takes care pf my needs. It is very important every day to be still and know that God is ever present in our lives. This week at Twist of Faith there is  a sketch that words great for incorporating this verse and entering it in a second challenge Word Art Wednesday. I made this card using CTMH Chantilly paper and accessories. The CTMH stamp set is Be Still. What do you think?

Have a wonderful, blessed day in the Lord! Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your feedback.

Heart 2 Heart – Photo Inspiration

The photo inspiration this week for Heart 2 Heart is beautiful.

It was fun to pull out CTMH Sophia retired stamp set to use for the card I made. I cut 3D flowers and vines out using the Cricut Artiste cartridge. As a child I had a parakeet named Albert who I always wanted to leave the cage open like this picture. I thought at times Albert looked out from the cage hoping someone would open the door. Here is my card based on the photo inspiration. What do you think?

Have a wonderful day! I greatly appreciate your feedback and comments.

Less is More

this time at Less is More challenge the key word is hexagons. When I think of hexagons I immediately think of bumble bees in their hive. I have made several cards in receive weeks with hexagons, bees and bee hives. CTMH sky card stock looked pretty to me and I decided to make my card using the CTMH Honeycomb stamp set. I have a wonderful hexagon punch that easily punches the hexagons out the perfect size after the cardstock was stamped. I used CTMH June stamp of the month to stamp the sentiment. The sentiment struck me funny and I decided to add one unique hexagon from the others on the card. What do you think of this card?

Thank you for stopping by! HAve a wonderful day and I greatly appreciate your feedback.

Rose Blossom Garden – Cricut Artiste p. 68 Birthday Boy

This time at Rose Blossom Garden the challenge is to use Cricut Artiste p. 68 Birthday Boy images on the project. As some of you know I am an avid reader and am blessed to have been taught how to read a young age. I work with my therapy dogs in a library READ program and encourage the students to read. At the end of the session I give them a bookmark to take home to remember the experience. This gave me the idea to include a bookmark in a card. So I used the images from this page and made a bookmark that slides in and out on the card. In the tag portion that holds the bookmark in place I added several images from this page. I have included two pictures. The first picture shows the card and bookmark together. The second picture shows the bookmark removed from the card so you can clearly see the holder the bookmark slides in and out on the card. What do you think?

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and Cards in Envy

The sketch this week was great for two challenges; Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge at and Cards in Envy. The sketch for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge can be accessed at is perfect for CTMH Claire paper and CTMH Just for You Stamp set. The faux stitching on the flower works well for the Cards in Envy Challenge this week. The card was easy and fun to make. I used the zip strip from the CTMH Claire paper to add the sentiment for the card. What do you think of the card?

Thanks for stopping by to view the card! I greatly appreciate your feedback and comments about what you think of this card.
