Share Sunday Hexagon Explosion Box Mini Album and Tea Triangle Holder

Just a year ago I made a hexagon explosion mini album that was a HUGE SUCCESS! Everyone has been asking for a tutorial which was posted with the original post. The original hexagon box was made with the Cricut cartridge which cuts it automatically for the box!  I made this explosion box with the Cricut Artiste cartridge cut at six different sizes. The sizes are  1 3/4 inches, 2 inches, 2 1/4 inches, 2 1/2 inches, 2 3/4 inches, 3 inches and cover is at 2 inches and 3 inches! This video shows the original explosion box.

I am back with a new explosion box. This time I made the explosion box with the Cricut Artiste cartridge cut at 2 3/4 inches and 3 inches and the cover is cut at three inches. I used Stampin Up A Nice Cuppa paper, embellishments, stamp and die cuts to complete the project. This is being posted on Share Sunday because the inspiration for this explosion box came from Steeped tea which sells tea triangles in 30 different flavors. The tea triangles fit so nicely in this box. Love to know what you think of the project.

Just love your explosion boxes!! I tried doing one of these years ago, but it didn’t turn out at all. Your examples may have been the inspiration to try it again!
