Share Sunday Holiday Gift Idea # 13 Two Sheet Wonder Cards and Bonus Box

This two sheet wonder card set and bonus box are a super project that can easily be completed in one evening for a quick  holiday or hostess gift. Here are the directions to make this super gift.

  1. Cut one piece of designer paper at 4 inches and then cut it again at 4 inches. Set the one of the 4 inches by 12 inches pieces aside.Cut two of the 4 inches by 12 inches strips at 4 inches and this will give you 6 pieces that measure 4 inches by 4 inches for the background base of six cards
  2. Cut a coordinating piece of designer paper into six 3 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 inches pieces. Attach these pieces to the 4 inches by 4 inches designer sheet pieces.
  3. Cut six white card stock pieces at 8 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches and score at 4 1/4 inches on the 8 1/2 inches side. Fold over to form the card bases.
  4. Glue the designer sheet pieces to the right side of the front of each card. Add acetate gold butterflies to each card.
  5. Place in a clear acetate bag and seal the bag.
  6. To make the box cut the reminder piece of designer paper 4 inches by 8 inches. Score the piece of paper on all four sides at 1 inch. On the 8 inch side score the paper at 3  1/2 inches and 4 1/2 inches. Fold the score lines.
  7. Cut up the score lines on each side of the paper to the first score line intersection. Trim the tabs, glue the tabs and assemble the box. I placed a tea candle in my box and added some butterfly embellishments to the front of the box.

I am entering this to the Anything Goes Challenge at Simply Papercraft.

I would love to know what you think of this simple holiday or hostess gift. Would you like to see more projects and directions for holiday and hostess gifts
