Inspiration for this project comes from Mini Accordion Hinge Book

Instructions: To see a larger phot of this project, click here. Scoring, Folding and Trimming: Fold 10.5 inches x 10 inches black card stock in half and burnish creases with a bone folder. Die cut ten Wildwood Cottage card bases as per instructions in the video. Cut on fold line of each card base from one inch to 3.5 inches. Cut black cardstock 7.5 inches x 9 inches. Score at one-inch intervals on the long side. Open the accordion folded piece and trim vertically at 5 inches and 2.5 inches cutting across the creases to create three long strips. Connect the strips end to end with glue. Cut and trim ten 3/4 inch by 4.5 inches strips from black cardstock. Cut 38 3 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches white cardstock for the inside pages of the mini accordion for photo mats.

Mini Accordion Hinge Book Assembly: Slide one mountain fold of the accordion spine into the slit of one WIldwood Cottage card base from the outside to the inside. Insert one black binding strip into the accordion pleat to secure it to the page. Repeat to insert all pages onto the spine. Adhere the front cover and back cover tabs with dries clear adhesive. Glue the white cardstock photo mats to each page of the album.

Decorate Mini Accordion Hinge Book: Stamp the small poinsettias and holly from the Poinsettia & Holly Clusters Stamp Set five times, color with chocolate chip ink, die cut and color with Stampin Up Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Garden Green ink using sponge daubers. Place the flowers in the molding tray and run through the die cutting machine for shaping. Finish shaping with flower shaping tools and glue together. Insert prills with glue into the center of each flower. Set aside to dry. Die cut a front and back cover from Festive Holly paper with the Wildwood Cottage die. Glue front and back cover into place with dries clear glue. Stamp 38 images from the Festive Holly & Cardinals Stamp set with chocolate chip ink, die cut and color with Stampin Up Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Garden Green ink using sponge daubers. Glue one holly bunch to each page of the album.

Adhere the flowers to the front cover as shown.
