Instructions: To view close ups of the cards, click here. Folded Handbag: Using one piece of 12 inches square paper, score at 1/2 inch, 4 1/2 inches, 7 1/2 inches and 11 1/2 inches and fold on all score lines. Rotate the paper ninety degrees and score at 3 3/4 inches and 8 1/4 inches. Fold on all the score lines. Cut along the 4 1/2 inches and 7 1/2 inches lines to the first intersecting line on both sides. Fold up the two center pieces and fit and glue the outer pieces to create the box. Fold down the scored tabs and stick together. Cut a 3 inches x 7 inches rectangle from coordinating cardstock and score at 3 inches and 5 inches. This will be the clasp on the handbag. Shape the corners of the front of the clasp with a corner rounder punch. Valley fold on the score lines. Fit and mat the clasp on to the card. Cut two strips of 1-inch x 12 inches from coordinating paper and fold in half length wise to create the handles. Attach the handles to each corner with brads. Add a magnet to the front of the bag and underneath the clasp to create the closure. Optional cut matching paper to line inside of bag. Cut two pieces of paper at 2 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 inches and two pieces of paper 4 inches by 4 1/2 inches to line the inside of the hand bag. Stamp, die cut and color 12 lilac petals and one lilac bush. Color and shape individual petals and bush with berry burst and lemon lime twist ink. Add lavender prills and clear glitter to the middle of each lilac petal. Glue to the front of the handbag clasp. Add a border of ribbon to the bottom of the handbag. To make the tassel cut one piece of light green paper 1 3/4 inches by 12 inches long. Cut up 1 1/2 inches with scissors or fringe scissors. Roll up and glue tassel. Punch a hole in the top the tassel and thread ribbon through to tie on one of the handles of the handbag.

Cards: Cut four pieces of white cardstock 4 inches by 4 inches and four pieces of white cardstock 4 inches x 8 inches. Score the 4 inches x 8 inches pieces at 2 inches and 4 inches. Die cut two birdcages from white cardstock. Stamp, die cut and color four lilac images and four of the sign with sayings with berry burst, powder pink, sweet sugarplum and lemon lime twist ink. Cut four pieces lavender paper from the paper collection at 3 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 inches. Glue the lavender paper to the front of each 4 inches by 4 inches white cardstock. Glue the 4 inches by 4 inches pieces to the front two-inch fold of the 4 inches x 8 inches white cardstock to form the front of each of the easel cards. Glue the white cardstock birdcages to the front of two of the cards. Glue one of each of the images to the front of the card. On the inside lower panel glue the saying panel to assist in holding the easel card open.

Instructions: Origami Exploding Gift Box: Cut a piece of white cardstock 11 inches x 8 1/2 inches. With the 8 1/2 inches side across the top, score at 2 3/4 inches and 5 3/4 inches. With the 11-inch side across the top score at 1 3/8 inches, 4 1/8 inches, 6 7/8 inches and 9 5/8 inches. Score at 2 1/2 inches and 8 3/4 inches ONLY from the top and bottom edges to the first intersecting score line. In all four corners cut on the 2 1/4 inch and 8 3/4 inches vertical score lines from the top edge down to the first intersection horizontal score line. On that same horizontal score line, cut from the 1 3/8 inches to 4 1/8 inches and 6 7/8 inches to 9 5/8 inches line. Turn the cardstock over 180 degrees and repeat on bottom edge. An image of the box scoring and cutting can be located here. Fold back and forth on all score lines. Bring the two outside sections together to form the two side lids. Leave the middle section open to form the exploding segment and to place images on.

Stamp, die cut and color with berry burst, powder pink, sweet sugarplum and lemon lime twist two lilac bushes for the outside side lids, two small vines for the inside middle lids, two umbrellas for the middle inside box and one butterfly. Die cut one 12 x 12 pages of the lilac petals from the paper collection. Shape each of these flowers with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Glue six sets of three of these flowers together for the outside of the box. Shape twenty-five lilac petals for the inside of the middle of the box. Cut four pieces of lavender paper at 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and glue to the four sides of the outside of the box using dries clear adhesive. Cut two borders 1 3/8 inches x 8 1/4 inches and glue to the three sides of each of the side outside lids. Cut four pieces of lavender paper at 1 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and glue to the outside side panels. Cut two pieces of pink paper 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and glue to the inside side lids. Cut two pieces of pink paper 2 5/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches and glue to the inside middle panels. Cut four pieces of pink paper 1 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and glue to the inside side panels. Glue the two small vines to the inside panels and the Two lilac bushes to the outside panels. Glue one umbrella to the middle inside panel. Glue the second umbrella pop up on the middle inside panel. Arrange and glue into place the lilac panels. On the outside panel glue three lilac panels to each top border piece.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. For the Notecard Holder: Cut a piece of cardstock 6 1/4 inches by 8 1/4 inches from black card stock. Score at 1/2 inch and 5 3/4 inches on the 6 1/4 inches side. Score at 1/2 inch, 4 inches and 4 1/2 inches on the 8 1/4 inches side. Crease the score lines to form the note card holder. Die cut the decorative medallion from the paper and glue to the back side of the card holder. Cut front decorative paper at 3 inches by 5 inches and back inside note card holder decorative paper at 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches. Glue decorative paper in place. Stamp, color, die cut and mold two flowers for the front of the holder. Apply prills, glitter and flowers to the front of the holder and tie with ribbon.

For the stand: Cut from black card stock 10 1/2 inches by 5 1/4 inches and place horizontally. Score vertically at 1/2 inch, 1 1/2 inches, 5 1/2 inches and 9 1/2 inches from right end. Crease the 1/2 inch in a mountain fold and the remaining scores in valley folds. Adhere with dries clear glue to the holder. Cut back outside decorative paper at 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches and glue in place.

Note Cards: Cut six white card stock note cards at 3 inches by 5 inches. Cut six images from the paper at 3 inches by 5 inches. Stamp each image with “Just a Not

Team Tuesday Think Green Card

 

Some days you just need a quick card to send someone special. I am thinking green as it once again is predicted to snow yet another 6 – 12 inches of snow! So I think we will grow some magic flowers. I am entering this card in the Heart 2 Heart Color Green Challenge, the Cards in Envy Green Things Card Challenge, and HeARTFUL Anything Goes Challenge.

This is a a set of 3 inches by 3 inches note cards and note box that was fun to make and is a great gift for any occasion.

Directions

  1. Cut a 7 1/2 inches square piece of card stock for the base of the box. Score the 7 1/2 inches square card stock on all four sides. Using scissors make vertical cuts on the scored line on all four sides to create a flap in each corner of the 7 1/2 inches square card stock piece. Glue each corner flap on the 7 1/2 inches square card stock and fold into a box.
  2. Cut a 5 1/8 inches square of white card stock for the box cover. Stamp the stem of the flowers randomly in Stampin Up Old Olive ink and stamp the flowers in Stampin Up Pacific Point ink. Score the paper at 3/4 inch on all four sides. Using scissors make vertical cuts on the scored lines on all four sides to create a flap in each corner of the 5 1/8 inches square card stock piece. Glue each corner flap on the 5 1/8 inches square card stock and fold into a box top.
  3. Cut six pieces of Stampin up Pacific Point card stock at 3 inches by 6 inches. Score the card stock at 3 inches to form 3 inches by 3 inches note cards. Cut six pieces to Pacific Point card stock at 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches.
  4. Cut twelve pieces of white card stock at 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches and six pieces of white card stock at 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches.
  5. On the 2 1/4 square white card stock stamp a row of stems in Stampin Up Old Olive ink and row of flowers on top of the stems in Stampin Up Pacific Point ink as per the picture.
  6. Glue the corresponding card stock pieces in order to form framed note cards per picture. Glue a white piece of card stock into the inside of each note card.
  7. Place completed note cards and envelopes in the box. Tie white ribbon around the box.

Instructions: To see more photos of this project, click hereStationery Cover Album: Cut paper for flip covers: 5 1/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches and 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches, and for back cover 8 inches by 4 1/4 inches. Cut the triple word border to length of 8 inches. Glue respective pieces in place on the outside covers and back of the stationery cover.

Stationery Inside Cover and Pocket Pages: Cut paper for the back of each flip cover: 5 1/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches and 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches. Glue respective pieces in place on the inside covers. Cut three pieces of paper 4 inches by 8 inches for the large middle cover that holds the cards in the pocket and the back of the pocket. Glue these pieces in place. Cut a piece for the pocket cover 2 3/8 inches by 8 inches and a 8 inch border “Hoping your day is Perfect” for the top of the pocket. Glue these pieces into place.

So Grateful Card: Using the Cut Mat Create Dies cut two corresponding rectangle pieces for the front of the card front. Cut a background piece at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Stamp “So Grateful” to the cottage image. Add Prills to the flowers in the image and Nuvo dots to the lower right corner of the card. Sponge paper with glue and apply crystal clear glitter.

Have a Sweet Day: Using the Cut Mat Create Dies cut one corresponding rectangle piece and one square piece for the front of the card. Cut a background piece at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Stamp “Have a Sweet Day” to the square image. Add Prills to the flowers in the image and Nuvo dots to the lower right corner of the card. Sponge paper with glue and apply crystal clear glitter.

Just a Note: Using the Cut Mat Create Dies cut one corresponding rectangle piece and one circle piece for the front of the card. Cut a background piece at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Stamp “Just a Note” to the round image. Add Prills to the flowers in the image and Nuvo dots to the lower right corner of the card. Sponge paper with glue and apply crystal clear glitter.

For My Friend: Using the Cut Mat Create Dies cut two corresponding rectangle pieces for the front of the card. Cut a background piece at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Stamp “For My Friend” to the rectangle image. Add Prills to the flowers in the image and Nuvo dots to the lower right corner of the card. Sponge paper with glue and apply crystal clear glitter.

Praying For You: Using the Cut Mat Create Dies cut one corresponding rectangle piece and one oval piece for the front of the card. Cut a background piece at 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Stamp “Praying For You” to the oval image. Add Prills to the flowers in the image and Nuvo dots to the lower right corner of the card. Sponge paper with glue and apply crystal clear glitter.

Team Tuesday Spring Tim Holtz Snow Globe

I used the TIm Holtz Snowglobe # 2 dies to make the snow globe images with paper that I found in my stash. I stamped the grass and flowers with Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps. I sponge dauber the sky and add clear glitter to make it look like the glitter in a snow globe. What do you think of the card?
