Fabulous Friday Heartfelt Creations Pull Up Concertina Card

I originally came across pictures for a pull up card in a British paper crafting magazine with metric measurements. A second name for this type of interactive card is called a lantern card. I sat down with my metric ruler one night and made this pull up card. The next day I came across a video through Pinterest. The measurements on the video were different than the one I made. The video is excellent in showing very easily how to make this WOW factor card and can be located at https://youtu.be/5gMeR8z9PEM!  I made my card to fold flat and fit into a 6 inches x 6 inches envelope for mailing with extra postage because it is a square card.

This innovative and perfectly sized coffee table book makes it quick and easy to preserve those precious memories with flip and fold out elements that will add fun and beauty to your project. I bought five of them on Black Friday and already have made two as gifts and one to keep myself. These are the pictures of the one I made for myself with 2018 memories of my two whippets Gina and Blush. Heartfelt Creations has awesome resources including a You Tube video and an online class to provide excellent ideas, specific measurements and materials to complete these types of albums. The blank album comes with the measurement of paper to cut for each page printed right on the album! I followed this tutorial to make this album at: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/classes/online/insta-album-step-by-step-live-class

Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team Hop Curvy Wreath

Welcome to the November 2018 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop

Martine Smith– https://www.abfabdesigns.blogspot.co.uk

The hop starts at 8AM EST on Friday, November 30th, 2018 and closes Monday, December 3rd, 2018 at 11.59PM EDT. The winner will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations blog and on Facebook on the Wednesday December 5th, 2018.

This curvy wreath is gorgeous, easy and fun project that can easily be completed in one evening for a quick  holiday or hostess gift. Here are the directions to make this tremendous wreath.

  1. Take a 12 inch foam wreath and lay it flat on your work surface.
  2. Take about 24 inches – 36 inches of ribbon and tie it around the wreath.
  3. Select a minimum of 12 coordinating pattern papers. I used two sheets of three different red and green Heartfelt Creations Festive Holly  and two sheets of three different Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve paper for this wreath. Take your patterned papers and using a paper trimmer cut all 12 sheets of patterned paper into 1/2 inch by 12 inch strips.
  4. Curl all your papers with a bone folder. Take your bone folder in one hand and pull it along the length of the paper with your other hand just as you would when curling ribbon. Repeat for all strips of paper.
  5. Add your curled strips to your wreath in any order that is pleasing to you. Simply push a dressmakers pin through the center of each strip and push it into the wreath. Keep adding strips to the wreath alternating the strips so that the mix includes all the patterns and color. Work your way around the wreath until completed!
