Fabulous Friday Rainbow Card

I love making the pop up box cards because they lay flat for mailing and pop up to surprise the recipient. I made this cute rainbow card with a stamp set and die set from Pink and Main. The images were colored with alcohol markers. I love these mice enjoying the rainbow. I encourage everyone to slow down and look at the beauty of God’s rainbow.

Fabulous Friday Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to the April 2018 Heartfelt Creations Alumni Team Blog Hop. You should be coming here from (Marie Gamber – http://thejoyofcards.blogspot.com)
The hop begins at 8AM EST on (April 27, 2018) and runs until 11:59PM EST (April 30, 2018) The winner of the hop will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations Blog and Facebook page on May 2, 2018.
I made a double shadow box using the Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilacs Collection and added butterflies using the stamp and die from the Heartfelt Creations Butterfly Medley collection. I used two of the Heartfelt Creations 6 inches x 6 inches shadow boxes. First I attached the two shadow boxes together to form a foldout booklet that stands so you can see both shadow boxes at the same time. I attached the boxes using two pieces of kraft paper. On the front I cut out the window image and then stamp, color, and die cut the lilacs that grace the left side. I stamp, color and die cut a butterfly to look like a yellow swallowtail butterfly. I used the Heartfelt Creations heart dies to make the heart shape for the shaker that doubles as a magnetic closure for the double shadow boxes! The shaker is filled with tiny beads that I had in my stash. When you open up the shadow box you have two images displayed with die cut elements that have been stamp, color, die cut from the Lush Lilac collection and Butterfly Medley collection. The outside of the frames are the Heartfelt Creations Sweetheart Border that have been embossed with antique gold embossing powder. On the back I cut another image from the collection. This was such a fun item to create and I look at it often in hopes that last of the snow showers will disappear to allow spring to arrive!
