After watching the class, I made my own flowerpot with blue and red petunias. I encourage everyone to sign up for this awesome class with Emma Lou. She provides  easy step by steps as she guides you through the steps of creating classic florals grouped together in a bouquet and added to the most adorable flower pot. You will learn her top tips and secrets to creating dimensional classic florals and bouquets that you will absolutely love!

Winner Wednesday Daisy Box of Cards

This project is a joint effort to be your best for several companies. It is fun to make a project that you are not limited to working with one company. This project uses a CTMH stamp set, colored with alcohol markers and accessorized with Heartfelt Creations daisies. My regular Wednesday night group of ladies had a lot of fun making the cards and have a head start on a beautiful handmade gift! I entered this box of cards in the Anything Goes challenge at Crafting from the Heart.

The hop begins at 8AM EST on May 25, 2018) and runs until 11:59PM EST (May 28, 2018) The winner of the hop will be announced on the Heartfelt Creations Blog and Facebook page on May 30, 2018.
This month I made this beautiful handmade butterfly after finally seeing the return of butterflies to the garden. I stamped the butterfly image with Black Memento ink so that I could hand color the butterfly image with alcohol markers. I used ShinHan alcohol ink markers in Leaf Green, Golden Yellow, Marigold, and Cerulean Blue to color the butterfly. After die cutting the butterfly I popped the wings and glued just the body part to the card. I cut a piece of gold fold paper 3 inches by 5 1/2 inches and a piece of the Heartfelt Creations Butterfly Dreams paper 2 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches and attached to the 4/14 inches by 5 1/2 inches card base. I used the Heartfelt Creations Best Wishes sentiment from the Heartfelt Creations Pampered Pooch set.

Tutorial Thursday Heartfelt Creations Mini Album with B and D Inserts

Recently I joined Join Emma Lou in an online Heartfelt Creations class and followed her easy step by steps as she guided  through the steps of adding decorative papers using only one 12×12 paper pad along with decorative dies to make a mini album with inserts B and D.  The online class really took the mystery out of decorating a mini album and how easy it is to use decorative papers and embellishments to the album. The tutorial for this album can be located here: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/?tracking=5add3e34e7161

Here are the pictures from my album. What do you think?

Winner Wednesday Heartfelt Creations Mini Album Flipfolds and Pockets E and F

I work with a very motivated and fun group of ladies every week making a variety of paper crafting projects. Recently some of them mentioned to me that they were not sure what to do with the albums and flipfold inserts they had purchased. I decided to review The Beginner’s Workshop for Elegant Flipfold Albums: How to Add Flipfold Inserts that Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations presented as an online class  that is available here: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/?tracking=5add3e34e7161  The online class provides easy step by steps  through the steps of adding interactive Flipfold & Pocket Inserts A, B, C, D, E, and F to your albums, along with how to add magnet closures. The online class takes the mystery out of these inserts and how easy it is to add Flipfold inserts to your Album, which all differ in design and come pre-measured and pre-scored making assembly quick and stress free, all while allowing varying combinations and designs making your album as unique as you are.

I created three sample albums to use as teaching tools with the ladies starting this week. This album showcases Flipfold and Pocket Inserts Eand F. What do you think?

When is spring going to arrive? Lilacs are always a flower that I associate with early spring. I made this lilac tiny branch with Heartfelt Creations lilac stamps. What do you think?
