You should be coming here from

The hop begins at 8AM EST on (August 31, 2018) and runs until 11:59PM EST (September 3, 2018)

I work with a very motivated and fun group of ladies every week making a variety of paper crafting projects. Recently some of them mentioned to me that they were not sure what to do with the albums and flipfold inserts they had purchased. I decided to review The Beginner’s Workshop for Elegant Flipfold Albums: How to Add Flipfold Inserts that Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations presented as an online class  that is available here:  The online class provides easy step by steps  through the steps of adding interactive Flipfold & Pocket Inserts A, B, C, D, E, and F to your albums, along with how to add magnet closures. The online class takes the mystery out of these inserts and how easy it is to add Flipfold inserts to your Album, which all differ in design and come pre-measured and pre-scored making assembly quick and stress free, all while allowing varying combinations and designs making your album as unique as you are.

I created three sample albums to use as teaching tools with the ladies . This album showcases Flipfold and Pocket Inserts A and C with retiring Beary Fun Retreat Paper Collection.

. What do you think?

Team Tuesday Stampin Up Share What You Love One Sheet Wonder Cards and Purse

This project included 14 cards from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper and a purse from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper! Two sheets of 12 x 12 paper and 14  4 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches white card bases and colored card stock cut 1/4 inch larger than the designer series paper on the cards!

I used this one sheet wonder template to make the cards with some variations from the original posting layouts for the cards that I located at:

One Sheet Wonder Layout

Layout Samples Final

For the purse that holds the 14 cards and envelopes I started with a 12 inches x 12 inches designer series paper and adapted the tutorial for a  folded handbag found here:

Using a scoring board and scoring tool measure 3 1/4 inches from the left edge and score down and repeat on the opposite edge. Turn the paper 90 degrees and measure for the left edge 5 inches and score down and repeat on the opposite edge. Valley fold on all the horizontal and vertical lines. Fold up to create the handbag gift bag! Added ribbon for handles.

Team Tuesday Chest of Drawers

This was a fun project to make where the drawers can be filled with any small goodies such as candy or jewelry. Cut four pieces of card stock 6 inches by 7 3/8 inches and score at 1 3/8 inches on all four sides. Cut the four tabs to allow folding of the tabs inwards and glue to create four individual drawers. Cut decorative paper and mat the front of each drawer as desired. I used very heavy card stock that was already decorative and did not add additional decorative paper.

Cut two pieces of card stock 4 1/4 inches x 6 1/4 inches and score on both short sides and one long side at 3/4 inches. Cut and glue the tabs to create two shelves.

Cut two pieces of card stock 3 3/8 inches x 9 1/2 inches and score at 4 3/4 inches and 8 7/8 inches. Glue the two pieces together to create a frame.

Turn one shelf over and drop it onto a drawer and repeat with the second drawer. Place one drawer with a shelf in the bottom of the frame. Place the second drawer with a frame on top of the first drawer. Place the third drawer in place. Once you are satisfied with how the drawers and shelves fit in the frame, remove them from the frame. Starting with bottom drawer and shelf, glue the sides of the shelf to the inside of the frame. Repeat for the second drawer and fit the third drawer in place. You can add decorative brads to the front of each drawer as desired to ease in opening and closing the drawers!

Take the last drawer and punch a decorative border into each side to form legs for your chest of drawers. Glue the drawer upside down on the outside of the frame to  form the “stand” for the chest of drawers.

Cut a 1 inch x 12 inches piece of card stock to create a strip for a handle. Glue the handle to each side of the drawers to allow for easy transport. What do you think of the chest of drawers?
