Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge – Sketch # 31

I continue to adore the sketches for Atlantic Hearts Challenge. The sketches provide awesome opportunities to work with one of the new Close to my Heart paper packs. For the next several weeks I will be using Sarita paper for the sketches. The sketches are wonderful and versatile to   cards in the Saritia paper packet.. For the bling and flowers on the top of the box I used a variety of CTMH paper flowers and Mini Medley packages of various embellishments. The inspiration for this card box cover came from a card in the new CTMH Fall/Winter 2013 idea book and catalog. The cards are stamped using several new stamp sets from the new CTMH fall/winter 2013 catalog and the Saritia wonderful stickease stickers. What do you think of the card box? The card box holds a total of six cards and decorated envelopes. Dad’s Birthday – A Reflection

Today would have been my father’s 90th birthday. As I was getting ready to shut down the computer I looked over on the couch and discovered this picture of the girls sleeping. Dad would have enjoyed meeting Gina and Blush very much! They provide much love and happiness every day. Dad agreed to let us kids have Sam Small a cat that was the runt of the litter. Sam turned into a big cat! For over twenty years I have been in greyhound and whippet rescue. Thanks Dad for teaching me to love and truly care for rescued animals!
