Winner Wednesday Daisy Box of Cards

This project is a joint effort to be your best for several companies. It is fun to make a project that you are not limited to working with one company. This project uses a CTMH stamp set, colored with alcohol markers and accessorized with Heartfelt Creations daisies. My regular Wednesday night group of ladies had a lot of fun making the cards and have a head start on a beautiful handmade gift! I entered this box of cards in the Anything Goes challenge at Crafting from the Heart.

Team Tuesday Stampin Up Share What You Love One Sheet Wonder Cards and Purse

This project included 14 cards from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper and a purse from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper! Two sheets of 12 x 12 paper and 14  4 1/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches white card bases and colored card stock cut 1/4 inch larger than the designer series paper on the cards!

I used this one sheet wonder template to make the cards with some variations from the original posting layouts for the cards that I located at: https://www.craftsy.com/paper-crafts/article/one-sheet-wonder/

One Sheet Wonder Layout

Layout Samples Final

For the purse that holds the 14 cards and envelopes I started with a 12 inches x 12 inches designer series paper and adapted the tutorial for a  folded handbag found here: http://stampwithsilvey.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/mini-bag-tutorial.html

Using a scoring board and scoring tool measure 3 1/4 inches from the left edge and score down and repeat on the opposite edge. Turn the paper 90 degrees and measure for the left edge 5 inches and score down and repeat on the opposite edge. Valley fold on all the horizontal and vertical lines. Fold up to create the handbag gift bag! Added ribbon for handles.

Marvelous Monday Stampin Up Share What You Love Bundle

Oh my goodness I had so much fun over the weekend in the evening making lots of fun projects with the Stampin Up paper and stamp set Share What You Love! As you can see I have lots to share with you. Each day for the next week I feature one of the projects which include two page scrapbook layouts, cards in boxes and a purse, and mini albums. I look forward to sharing with you with what I love to do for relaxation complete with instructions! What do you think?

Marvelous Monday Spring Color Cards and Card Box

One of the free stamps in the Stampin Up salebration catalog was this wonderful flower stamp. I had a lot of fun playing with the stamp making six different cards and a card box in retired Stampin Up Mint Macron. I discovered I had card stock and ribbon to work with the stamp and ink! What do you think of the six cards and card box? I am entering this in the Sweet Stampin Spring Challenge.

This card I am entering in the The Paper Players Sketch Challenge.

Share Sunday Eights Cards and Card Box

I had so much fun making these eight cards and card box with items I had on hand. The stamp set is Chelsea Gardens from my CTMH. The paper was in my 6 x 6 inch paper stash with no cover, the card box is stamped with the CTMH stamps, the butterflies colored and the box made with the envelope punch board. I used CTMH patterns found from the download files from the scrapbook and cardmaking kits on the CTMH shopping link. What do you think of the eight cards and card box? I am entering these cards and card box in the heARTful Stamping Challenge and the Heart 2 Heart Card Pattern Challenge.

Tutorial Thursday Stationery Box with CTMH Cut Above Cards and Tags

I had a lot of fun making this beautiful CTMH Bashful color stationery box with CTMH Cut Above cards and tags. I stamped the cards and tags.  I made the stationery box loosely following a tutorial on Splitcoasters.

1. Cut a piece of 12 x 12 inches piece of CTMH Bashful card stock. Score at 5 inches and 7 inches. Turn paper 90 degrees and score at 3 inches and 9 inches in the other direction.

2. Cut the sides to score lines. Fold these cut pieces into the center of the box and glue down for extra support. This becomes the bottom of the stationery box.

3. Cut 1 3/4 inches off each side of the two top panels only. Score the bottom panels at 1 inch and 11 inches.

4.Cut a piece of 8 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches of CTMH Bashful card stock. Score both short sides and one of the long sides at 1 1/4 inches. Trim the corners of this piece and apply glue to the scored sections. Fold up the top of the card box and attach this piece to the box to form the holder for the cards.

5. Cut a piece of 8 1/2 inches x 2 inches piece of CTMH Bashful card stock. Socre both short sides at 1/2 inch and 1 inch from each end. Apply glue along the outer score section area and attach to the front of the card holder.

6. For the top of the box cut a piece of CTMG Bashful card stock at 10 1/8 inches x 6 1/8 inches and score at 2 inches on all sides. Cut the vertical score line up to the horizontal score line and trim the corners. Fold the ends up to form the lid and glue in place.

7. Cut gold foil paper 1/8 inches smaller than all sides of the box and box cover and glue into place. Cut CTMH Bashful glitter paper 1/4 inches smaller than all sides of the box and box cover and glue on top of the gold foil paper.

8. Stamp, die cut, and mold three sets of Heartfelt Creations Classic Roses. Die cut one set of Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose vines in gold foil. Arrange roses and vines on the top and side of the box top.

What do you think of the stationery box? I am entering it in the a2Z Scrapbooking Anything Red and/or Pink Challenge.

Other Products: Paper trimmer, foam glue dots, magnet, Stampin Up ink in Melon Mambo, Early Expresso and Garden Green, glue dots, 3 1/2 x 5″ notecards with envelopes to fit the notecards (Stampin’ UP!’s Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes used), pearl embellishment

Watch this tutorial to see how to shape the petunias https://youtu.be/KOy_qNB9OAk.

Instructions: Inspiration for this project came from My Sisters Scrapper and a step by step video of this card clutch can be located here. Take one sheet of 12 x 12 inch decorative paper and decide which side you want inside and outside for your clutch purse. With the right side of the 12 inch decorative paper down, bring the corners together and fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle. From the fold, turn up approximately 1 inch and press the fold along the bottom. Flip the triangle over and turn the 1 inch fold to the other side. Press along the previous fold line to reinforce it. Open up the paper to the inside of the clutch purse. It is easier to continue if your turn the paper so the fold lines are in the vertical position. Bring both corners with folds up to the center of the paper. Fold in a mountain valley style. The center fold will be a mountain fold.. Close the clutch purse and fold back the corner. Add a magnet closure to the inside of the clutch purse. Stamp one small, one medium and one large size petunia with Stampin Up early espresso ink. Stamp two leaves with Stampin Up garden green ink. Use Stampin Up Melon Mambo ink and a stack and store dauber to color the three flowers. Shape the petunias according to the tutorial on how to shape the petunias. Place Hot Mama prills in the center of each flower with designer dry clear glue. Add a spritz of glue to flower tips and sprinkle shell white glitter on the tips of each flower. Attach completed flowers to the outside of the clutch purse. Place pearl embellishment in the middle to simulate the closure.
