Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge – Sketch # 36

Happy New Year to everyone!  I continue to adore the sketches for Atlantic Hearts Challenge. The sketches provide awesome opportunities to work with one of the new Close to my Heart paper packs. For the next several weeks I will be using Sparkle and Shine Paper Packet for the sketches. The sketches are wonderful and versatile to  cards in the Sparkle and Shine  paper packet.. For the bling and flowers on the top of the box I used a variety of CTMH Base and Bling embellishments and other CTMH various embellishments. The inspiration for this card box cover came from a card in the new CTMH Fall/Winter 2013 idea book and catalog. The cards are stamped using CTMH November stamp of the month Illuminate. Lasting Memories Layout Challenge

The theme at LAsting Memories Layout challenge is “Here Comes Santa Claus”. In the summer of 2013 there was a weekend on the Finger Lakes where mostly greyhounds and a few relative sight hounds are warmly welcomed into the majority of the wineries. It is a great event. At one of the wineries a photographer was taking pictures of the dogs with Santa with the proceeds going to greyhound rescue. My greyhound and whippet gladly posed with Santa while they took a total of 75 pictures! India the greyhound sat the entire time while Gina whippet spent the time looking everywhere but the camera! In any case I did get some nice pictures and made this double page layoutwith CTMH Sparkle and Shine paper.

I have included an overall picture of the page and then several close up of various elements included on the page.

Scrapbook Challenges — Sketch # 374

I love to scrapbook pages of my dogs. I have not been able to do it for quite some time because for several months I have had a lot of fun making gifts for my customers! My customers are very important to me because they allow me the opportunity to have some spending money to buy new supplies to do a variety of paper crafting. During this Christmas break I have come across some wonderful scrapbook challenge sketches that has helped me to get some recent pictures of my dogs showcased in a new scrapbook. Paper Secrets

One recent morning just before dawn I awoke to a wonderful winter wonderland outside my back door. It was so beautiful and the unusual lighting added to the peace and beauty this timeless opportunity allowed me to reflect on the beauty and uniqueness of each snowflake that fell that day. The coloring was an unique blue that was captured in the photos on this scrapbook page! I loved this sketch to show case the pictures captured. My time twist is in the form of the individual snowflakes stamped on the page and I have included close up pictures of the stamped images.

I love to scrapbook pages of my dogs. I have not been able to do it for quite some time because for several months I have had a lot of fun making gifts for my customers! My customers are very important to me because they allow me the opportunity to have some spending money to buy new supplies to do a variety of paper crafting. During this Christmas break I have come across some wonderful scrapbook challenge sketches that has helped me to get some recent pictures of my dogs showcased in a new scrapbook.

This was a fantastic sketch to showcase my whippet Gina sporting her new Christmas sweater. She loved the sweater and left it on for several hours! The sketch has numerous layering that showcases the pictures and allows them to pop. It was a fun page to scrapbook and to be so thankful for all the love and joy that Gina brings to my life every day. I have provided a picture of the whole page and then close up pictures of several different sections of the page.

Creative Scrappers

I love to scrapbook pages of my dogs. I have not been able to do it for quite some time because for several months I have had a lot of fun making gifts for my customers! During this Christmas break I have come across some wonderful scrapbook challenge sketches that has helped me to get some recent pictures of my dogs showcased in a new scrapbook. This was a fun challenge to try out several new stamps I have that work with the documenting on a frequent basis of pictures you take of various days in your life! My pictures show case a recent day where I discovered the new whippet Blush sleeping on top of my whippet Gina. It definitely allowed me an opportunity to get a Reel of Pictures of them sleeping together over the course of the morning and will lead to additional scrapbook pages. I had a lot of fun with this sketch. What do you thing of this scrapbook page?

Stuck on! Sketches

During this Christmas break I have come across some wonderful scrapbook challenge sketches that has helped me to get some recent pictures of my dogs showcased in a new scrapbook. A few days before Christmas I came across this You Tube of How to Wrap A Cat for Christmas.

On Christmas Day my new rescue whippet Blush was playing with the wrapping paper and my sister wrapped her up in the paper. She loved it! I was able to get this picture of her wrapped up in the wrapping paper and her new Christmas sweater. She would not let anyone remove her new sweater for two days!

I am really pleased with how this page showcases my whippet Blush complete with her crooked ear! I have included a picture of the whole page and then some close ups of various elements on the page. What do you think of the page?
